Sugar Plant are a Japanese group who have given us a two albums on this two-disc release. The first is entitled Happy, where Sugar Plant offer up Japanese shoegazing pop sensibilities in an electronic forum. These songs have subtle, beautiful layers piled on top of one another, rolling along on the same groove, never getting boring or old.9/.

After After Hour is an entrancing collection of hypnotic dream-pop. While the songs all blend together, Sugar Plant is about sound, not songs, and After After Hour certainly delivers with its fusion of droning electronics, ethereal vocals and pulsating strummed guitars.6/

Dec 17,  · Licorice is a plant native to Europe and Asia. The root contains a chemical called glycyrrhizin that is the active ingredient in a range of medications. With a sweetness factor 50 times greater than that of table sugar, glycyrrhizin improves the flavor of these medications and also sweetens the candy made with licorice root.

Aug 05,  · 18 hours ago. My mom bought a small licorice plant which is sitting in a pot in the yard right now. It actually smells like black licorice and has dark purple leaves, it's quite amazing. It's growing very fast too, we're going to have to move it to a bigger pot or to the garden fairly soon because it's going to be too large for its current pot.
