Jul 16,  · I was a bit reluctant at first to purchase because of reviews that this is not the best Tommy Dorsey CD. Others did say it's a great introduction, however, so I bought with that in mind. It's a good CD. I like the mixture of peppy and slow songs. It doesn't seem that all sound the same so it's individual and the sound is beautiful/5(50).

This is the band Tommy first recorded with after the Dorsey Bros. Orchestra, which he had co-run with his brother Jimmy since , broke up acrimoniously earlier in Tommy's band was now a standard big band of the swing era, consisting of five brass, four reeds and a four-man rhythm section, and at its best it is, as heard here, a first /5(2).

Bright Eyes is an American indie rock band founded by singer-songwriter and guitarist Conor Oberst. It consists of Oberst, multi-instrumentalist and producer Mike Mogis, trumpet and piano player Nate Walcott, and a rotating lineup of collaborators drawn primarily from Omaha's indie music scene.
